**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work on active ways to identify the needs for Supplier Development to improve their quality and participate in continuous improvement activities as required.
- Conduct business with external and internal suppliers with the utmost ethical behavior to maintain the company standing in good terms.
- Provide resources for the administration of the Receiving inspection department by selecting, developing and identifying needs for the department.
- Provide visibility to the key process indicators and drive the continuous improvement of the processes defined by those indicators. **Lead key process improvement teams related to component quality.**:
- Plan and perform supplier audits mostly in Mexico but be able to travel to other global supplier locations. **Act as a project manager, team leader or team member as appropriate on New Products Introduction programs.**:
- Provide APQP training, problems solutions **Root Cause Analysis and Process Capabilities **Use basic metrology techniques to measure components and construct statistical data analysis of the results **Create sampling plans from industry standards. **Sees quality as an integral part of the business.




**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5 years of working experience in logistics/supply chain/manufacturing
- Strong communication skills are essential to liaison between companies, suppliers and preparing quality assurance reports.
- Knowledge of metrology techniques, equipment and ability to conduct basic analysis of parts.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, drawing standards, and industry standards i.e. ASTM etc.
- Familiar with ISO9001 / ISO 14000 and UL standards and have the ability to create and conduct an audit program to these standards.
- Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English, bi-lingual
- Proficient in standard logistics software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Compensation: Competitive, bonus eligible Travel: 20%, domestic and US
