Position Summary**
Supervises the production planning and control activities, control of external process orders, inter-plant inventory transfers, imports, receipts and storage of material, storage of finished product are carried out effectively, final shipment to internal and external customers, and purchases in general. He is primarily responsible for the continuous improvement of the department through a strong focus on lean systems for optimization of warehouse space, flow of materials in production and balancing of inventory levels.**
Responsibilities**
- Implementation and maintenance of the PPCP (Plan For Each Part) as well as the configuration of our part numbers in the applicable databases (MSS, API, etc.).
- Control and manage the workload of planners and buyers by setting Planner Codes.
- Analysis and continuous improvement of production planning and control processes and procedures.




- Design and implementation of strategies to reduce the delivery time of our products (Value Chain Mapping); balancing the flow of material through the plant. (Decrease in Lead Time)
- Supervision of the master production plan in the short and medium term; as well as compliance with the delivery plan.
- Monitoring, analysis and optimization of inventory levels (material in transit, material in warehouse, product in process, finished product)
- Supervision that frequent cyclical inventories are carried out to ensure the reliability of our inventory system. It makes sure that the information is synchronized in the applicable databases. (MSS, API, etc).
- Promotes and ensures a strong material handling culture; so that our material does not suffer from blows, loss, or any other reason that causes its negative adjustment in the system.
- Planning, execution and revision of the annual Physical Inventories.
- Supervision and continuous improvement of raw material purchasing activities, inter-plant inventory transfers, miscellaneous purchases and external process subcontract orders.**
Qualifications**
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree or Engineering (Master's Desirable in a similar field).
- 3 years leading a similar department.
- 5 years of verifiable personnel management.
- Written and conversational English.
- Use of Microsoft Office to manage advanced reports.
- General knowledge of the safety and environmental regulations applicable to the locality.
- General knowledge in ISO/AS9100 quality systems
- Advanced Knowledge in Lean Systems (Indispensable) Lean Manufacturing Tools (6'S, SMED, Kanban, Pull System, Poka Yoke, inventory control.
- Knowledge of high-performance team methodology
- Advanced knowledge in production planning and scheduling tactics.
