PR Manager, Amazon Devices Mexico

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes Mexican media culture, knows how to turn a product launch into a cultural moment, and thrives in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how Mexicans discover and fall in love with products like Alexa, Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, Ring, Blink and Amazon Leo — working at the intersection of technology, culture, and storytelling, building campaigns that resonate locally while connecting to a integral brand.
Key job responsibilities
What You'll Do
Shape the narrative.
Develop and lead proactive creative PR campaigns, delivering clear, results-focused reports linked back to business goals.
Plan and execute product and service launches with precision, measuring success against pre-defined objectives.
Build strong partnerships.
Work with external PR agencies to develop and implement proactive PR plans for devices and services.
Become the go-to Amazon voice for Mexico's top tech and lifestyle journalists, building relationships that deliver results over the long term.
Move at the speed of news.
Turn fast-moving news cycles into opportunities — protecting and elevating Amazon's reputation as an innovator in real time, and successfully navigating complex, unexpected communications challenges.
Connect the dots across Amazon.




Collaborate with PR teams across Amazon — from Stores to AWS to Prime Video — to maximize opportunities and implement holistic, integrated campaigns.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experienceBachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related fieldExperience in media relations and issues managementExperience in written and spoken English and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responsesExperience with consumer media (news, technology, broadcast)
Preferred Qualifications
Deep knowledge of Mexico media topics and trendsProactive, takes responsibility and makes things happenCreative campaign development skillsStrong attention to detail and quality standardsAdaptable in fast-paced corporate environmentInspires and motivates agenciesExecutive thought leadership experienceAutonomous multi-project managementKnowledge of emerging communications channels and content creatorsComfortable using AI tools for research and content creation
