Mapping projects within the organization's ecosystem: Understanding domains, source/target systems, involved teams, and future API usage.
Designing low-level design focused on components/APIs: Required under an API-First approach and using API-Led as the integration methodology.
Defining design patterns: Understanding key concepts such as versioning, pagination, error modeling, idempotence, limits, etc.
Ensuring API security mechanisms: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, etc., and authorization guidelines.
Must-Have Skills: # API Design: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and Swagger/RAML contracts (hands-on).
