This position focuses on transactional accuracy, documentation discipline, foundational SAP execution and maintenance, and report distribution.
The role does not include planning decisions, shortage management, or independent decision-making.Essential FunctionsCreate, adjust, and maintain purchase orders for externally sourced componentsUpdate purchase orders with supplier acknowledged ship dates and quantitiesConfirm purchase order pricing and quantities and support invoice matchingInput and maintain customer and supplier order data within ERP systemsTransmit releases to suppliers and track acknowledgementsAssist in monitoring inventory levels and inventory accuracy for purchased componentsMaintain material master, purchasing info records,



and planning parameters as directedEnsure FIFO compliance through data accuracy and transaction timingTrack inbound shipments and verify receipt or non-receipt for purchased materialsCommunicate with freight carriers, customs brokers, and logistics partners as neededSupport expediting activities by tracking delivery risks and hot partsMaintain documentation related to compliance including packing slipsRefresh and distribute standard purchasing and inventory reportsDocument discrepancies, corrective actions, and transaction changesMaintain filing and audit documentation for orders and receiptsInterface with Purchasing, Supplier Integration, Quality, and Finance teamsParticipate in cross functional meetings to build supply chain knowledgeFollow EHS and system governanceKnowledgeBasic SAP navigation and data entryBasic understanding of MRP and ERP systemsBasic understanding of data integrity and documentation disciplineGeneral understanding of supply chain and logistics processesExperience0–2 years in supply chain, materials, procurement planning, or operations (SAP exposure preferred).
Experience in executing ERP/MRP transactions (purchase orders, confirmations, master data maintenance) preferred.Experience working with suppliers and logistics partners (tracking shipments, acknowledgements, and receipts) preferred.SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to follow structured processes and instructionsBasic interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office productsEducationBachelor's degree in operations, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred.Position RequirementsThe demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
