Senior Tax Professional / Senior Tax Accountant Location: Remote – Mexico Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Professional / Senior Tax Accountant to join a U.S.-based tax firm. This position is adecuado for a tax professional who can work independently, manage multiple clients, and prepare tax returns with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing approximately 80% of the firm's tax returns , including tax adjustments, planning, workpapers, and supporting documentation. Completed work will be submitted to the Hiring Manager for final review and approval. What You'll Do Independently prepare a variety of U.S. federal tax returns . Prepare tax adjustments, calculations, and supporting workpapers. Review client information and prior-year returns to determine tax requirements. Manage approximately ***** clients , depending on complexity. Manage multiple tax projects and deadlines simultaneously. Perform tax research and apply relevant tax regulations.



Prepare complete and accurate returns with minimal supervision. Maintain organized and detailed supporting documentation. Collaborate with the Hiring Manager during the review and approval process. Must-Have Requirements Strong experience with U.S. federal taxation and tax preparation . Ability to independently prepare standard tax returns with minimal supervision. Experience preparing tax workpapers and supporting documentation. Experience managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously. Background in public accounting, a tax firm, or a similar environment . Strong technical tax knowledge and attention to detail. Ability to manage approximately ***** clients , depending on complexity. ️ Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken. Nice to Have Experience with Accounting CS . Experience preparing state tax returns, particularly Florida, California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Georgia . Experience handling more complex tax returns. QuickBooks experience. U.S. CPA or other U.S. tax credentials .
