Finally, our Client is part of one the largest Insurance Groups in the world.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst II to support complex accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, process improvements, and financial systems initiatives.This role is suited for an accounting professional who can work independently, lead projects, support audits, perform testing activities, and partner with multiple stakeholders to improve accounting processes and strengthen financial controls.The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify operational efficiencies.Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and expense allocations.- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and control procedures.- Support IFRS and MFRS reporting activities.- Prepare internal and regulatory reports and filings.- Analyze accounting impacts of system changes and process enhancements.- Develop business requirements and support SAP enhancement initiatives.- Participate in system testing and validation activities.- Develop balancing routines and exception reporting processes.- Support internal and external audit requests.- Lead special projects and ad-hoc initiatives independently.- Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities.Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting requirements are met.What We're Looking For- Self-starter who can work independently.- Strong ownership mentality.- Continuous improvement mindset.- Comfortable challenging existing processes and finding efficiencies.- Excellent attention to detail.- Adaptable and collaborative.- Interested in long-term career growth within the organization.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- 4-6 years of accounting experience.- Strong experience with:- Financial Reporting- Journal Entries- Accruals- Month-End Close- Balance Sheet Reconciliations- Internal Controls- Audit Support- - Experience performing testing and validating system changes.- Advanced English communication skills.- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to independently manage projects and priorities.Preferred- SAP S/4HANA experience.- Regulatory reporting experience within Mexico.- CPA certification.- Experience with process automation initiatives.- Exposure to AI tools and Microsoft Copilot.- Experience creating exception reports and financial controls.- Cost Accounting experience.BenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits package:1.
