CommScope is looking to add a Staff Materials Engineer to join our team in Bermudez Plant in Juarez Chih., Mex.

How You'll Help Us Connect The World

We are seeking a Staff Materials Engineer to support global R&D; product development through materials testing, qualification and characterization analysis.





The successful candidate will develop and execute test plans for metallic, plastic and finished-product components. Evaluate material performance, investigate failures, and provide engineering recommendations to cross-functional teams.

Education And Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Engineering Physics or a related engineering field.
- 2 or more years of materials laboratory, product-testing or characterization experience.
- Knowledge of metallurgical and polymer principles, material properties and testing standards.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (+80%).

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Materials Engineering or Metallurgy
- SEM, DSC, TGA, FTIR and other materials characterization techniques.
