The Role
We are looking for a to lead the finance function for a high-growth US company.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role covering both
accounting and FP&A;
. You will be responsible for the accuracy of the company’s financials, financial planning and forecasting, cash and liquidity management, and the finance infrastructure needed to support continued growth.
You will work closely with the founders, CEO, and leadership team and will be responsible for translating financial information into clear recommendations for business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
- Own the P&L;, balance sheet,
and cash flow statement
- Lead the accounting team and manage external accounting, tax, and other finance partners
- Establish and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, approval processes, and reporting standards
- Oversee multi-entity accounting and consolidation
- Lead the annual audit or review process, including auditor management, PBC requests, and resolution of findings
- Coordinate US federal, state, and local tax compliance with external CPA firms
- Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and headcount planning
- Build and maintain financial models to support pricing, hiring, compensation, investment, and other strategic decisions
- Manage the company’s cash position, liquidity, and runway, including a 13-week cash flow forecast
- Monitor burn, working capital, collections, and significant upcoming payments
- Manage banking relationships and payment
