To support the Legal department in daily administrative, contractual, and corporate law activities while gaining practical experience in a multinational manufacturing environment. The intern will assist with procedures before local authorities, contract follow-up, and coordination with notary offices and external law firms, developing technical and professional skills for a future career in corporate law.
Key Responsibilities
· Support procedures before local authorities (licenses, permits, and land-use authorizations).
· Follow up on contracts with local suppliers and track their renewal and expiration dates.
· Act as liaison with notary offices and external law firms in Yucatán.
· Assist with labor-related files (IMSS registrations, individual employment contracts).
· Support office administration: correspondence, filing, and visit logistics.
· Coordinate basic matters with the Finance department (travel expenses, petty cash).
· Basic knowledge of Corporate Law.
Education
- Currently in the final semester of a Bachelor's Degree in Law, or completing professional practice (pasantía).
Experience
- Previous internship or professional practice is desirable but not required.
- Basic knowledge of corporate and labor law gained through academic coursework.
- Interest in developing a career in corporate law within a multinational environment.
Languages
- Intermediate English.
Skills
- Organized, autonomous, and results-oriented.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with SAT procedures and e.firma (digital signature) is a plus.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
