Amentum is seeking a Maintenance & Repair (M&R;) Supervisor to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. TheM&R; Supervisoris responsible for supervising the maintenance and repair of Non-Tactical Vehicle Equipment (NTVE), Weight Handling Equipment (WHE), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE). The position involves overseeing mechanics and technicians, planning maintenance schedules, and ensuring high-quality repairs in compliance with operational standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervising maintenance and repair activities onNTVE, WHE, MHE,



and OHEto maintain operational readiness and equipment reliability.
Ensuring all maintenance and repair work adheres tomanufacturer specifications and recommendations.
Planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
Diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues, troubleshooting malfunctions, and determining the most effective repair methods.
Leading a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance supervision to ensure safety and efficiency.
Monitoring the repair and maintenance workflow, assigning resources to priority tasks, and addressing delays or challenges that arise.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance in compliance with documentation requirements.
