We are looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications (External Communications) to play a key role in shaping executive communications and strengthening Nissan's reputation in Mexico.
Reporting to the Corporate Communications Deputy Director, this role is responsible for leading executive-level and external communications, including strategy, planning, content development, and execution.
The position works closely with commercial teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful messaging, media engagement, and high-visibility initiatives.
Lead executive and external communications strategy, including speeches, presentations, and messaging frameworks
Partner with senior leadership stakeholders to craft impactful narratives and positioning
Coordinate product launches, corporate events, and communication campaigns
Lead crisis communication and reputation management efforts




Develop and execute external and corporate communications strategies aligned with general and regional narratives
Create and manage high-quality content (press releases, executive briefings, speeches, presentations)
Support senior executives in thought leadership, media interactions, and external engagements
Lead crisis and issues management communications , including mitigation strategies and response planning
Strong experience in external communications and corporate storytelling
Proven ability to partner directly with senior leadership stakeholders (C-level exposure)
Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Spanish (AP style preferred)
Strong media relations and strategic communications experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in external communications
~5+ years in executive or corporate communications roles
~ Proven experience handling crisis communications and issues management
~ Experience working closely with senior leadership stakeholder
