Junior Accountant
Work arrangement: 100% remote for people located at Durango, Durango.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper with hands-on accounting experience to join the finance team of a growing U.S.-based company.
We are not looking for someone who only enters data. We need someone who can take ownership of day-to-day accounting processes, manage a high volume of transactions, and maintain exceptional accuracy.
You will work directly with QuickBooks Online, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, credit cards, and financial records, so we are looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals and can work independently from day one.

What Will You Be Doing?
Enter and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks Online
Manage Accounts Payable processes and scheduled payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Reconcile and categorize credit card transactions
Perform bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies
Keep receipts, invoices, and financial documentation organized




Review and analyze financial information using Microsoft Excel
Maintain high standards of accuracy in a high-volume environment
Follow up on accounting tasks independently and proactively
Collaborate remotely with a U.S.-based accounting team

What We Need From You
At least 1 year of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or operational accounting
At least 1 year of hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online
Practical experience with Accounts Payable
Experience with bank, vendor, and credit card reconciliations
Experience processing recurring or scheduled payments
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and reviewing financial information
Advanced written and conversational English, including U.S. accounting terminology
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify errors
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
Experience working independently, proactively, and in
