Procurement & Category Management Analyst (SW/HW/Telcom)The Strategic Sourcing and Procurement department is a centralized, fast-paced environment and requires a high level of organizational skills, efficient use of time, and the ability to perform under pressure while managing projects to meet critical deadlines.
The team is responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement operations, supplier relationship management, data & analytics, outsourcing, commercial terms review, and contract management across Vertiv.
We are currently in search of a Senior IT Procurement Category Specialist – Indirect to join our team.What You'll DoStrong knowledge of indirect categories relevant to a SaaS company, including SaaS licenses, IT and professional services.Partner with and support Strategic Sourcing Managers (regions) with improved workflows, contract execution, and reporting insights.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Accounting, Finance, IT, Security, Legal, to understand their procurement needs and prioritiesSupport RFP, RFx, and sourcing events, including document preparation and vendor coordinationHave a solid understanding of commercial terms and conditions to ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and accounting requirements and protect the organization's financial interests.Support intake, review, and tracking of SOWs, Change Requests (CRs), NDAs, and contract amendmentsStrong technical proficiency in Agiloft (CLM) administration, ServiceNow, Zycus assist Strategic Sourcing with improved workflows, renewals, and contract execution via PandadocAnalyze market trends, assess supplier capabilities, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsEnsure compliance with procurement policies and oversee the creation, review, and approval of purchase orders within CoupaHas advanced proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data validation, complex formulas),
