Transportation SpecialistAs a Transportation Specialist in our Queretaro Plant, you will develop and implement efficient transport solutions to ensure smooth operational execution.
You will evaluate, optimize, and refine transportation strategies to meet business objectives, collaborating with key stakeholders to design, deploy, and continuously improve logistics solutions.
This role plays a critical part in enhancing logistics efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall operational performance by optimizing transport systems and methodologies.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and optimize transportation methods to support business operationsAnalyze transport processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost reductionCollaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, planning, procurement, and logistics) to design and implement transport solutionsMonitor transportation performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsSupport the deployment of transport strategies aligned with organizational goalsTroubleshoot and resolve routine and non-routine transportation issues independentlyMaintain documentation of transport processes, standards, and best practicesProvide guidance and knowledge sharing within the team regarding transport methods and practicesParticipate in projects related to logistics optimization and process improvementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field3–5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain rolesExperience in transport planning, routing,
