EachRoute shipments within the AMZL coverage area.Support and assign job duties to process assistants.Due to the nature of Amazon's business, being able to adapt to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities.Track & monitor sorting operation and driver's dispatch.Job RequirementsContinual standing and/or walking an average of 5 miles daily.Ability to work in construction /distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated,
not air-conditioned.Availability to work a versátil schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.Key job responsibilitiesReview the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for sort operation, manage a team group to meet all building's goalsSupport all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and DSPsProactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean toolsTrain and develop peopleImplement Continue Improvement ProjectsBuild bonds between all stakeholders and peersMonitor and audit plans for DSPs including staffing, schedules, quality initiatives, and performance levelsPromote best practice and continuous process improvements across your team in areas like health and safety and productivityEnsure there is on-the-road capacity for deliveries including during peak business timesHelp to pilot new service types on-site, such as electric vehicles and cargo bikesCarry out performance reviews with DSPsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent1+ years of employee and performance management experienceWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysCan push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shiftsPreferred Qualifications1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceSpeak, write, and read fluently in EnglishOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
