HR Assistant
Location: Mexico – Remote
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $1,300 USD/month
Department: Operations / Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager / Director of Operations
Language: English – B2 to C1 proficiency
Role Overview
Provide HR liaison support to leadership and team members with the communication, coordination, and implementation of people-related processes. These services include facilitating communication between leadership, HR, and staff; supporting the consistent application of HR guidelines; and coordinating initiatives related to development, engagement, and performance.
The role is intended to help identify workplace challenges, recommend and support appropriate interventions, and promote a positive, productive, and well-aligned organizational culture through advisory and project-based assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Support
1. Act as the first point of contact between employees and HR for questions related to policies, procedures, performance, and workplace concerns.
2. Identify patterns or recurring issues affecting morale, clarity of roles, or team dynamics, and escalate insights to HR and leadership.
3. Support conflict resolution efforts in coordination with HR and management.
Communication & Alignment
1. Ensure HR policies, updates, and initiatives are clearly communicated and understood across teams.
2. Gather employee feedback and provide structured insights to HR and leadership to support data-informed decisions.
3. Partner with team leads and managers to reinforce consistent messaging and expectations.
Training & Development Support
1.
Coordinate onboarding and training initiatives to ensure employees clearly understand their roles, responsibilities, and workflows.
2. Identify training gaps and collaborate with HR and leadership to recommend learning solutions.
3. Support the rollout of new processes, tools, or organizational changes.
Performance & Process Support
1. Assist with performance review cycles by coordinating documentation, timelines, and communication.
2. Support managers in reinforcing performance expectations and development plans.
3. Help ensure HR processes are followed consistently and fairly.
Compliance & Documentation
1. Maintain accurate records related to employee issues, training participation, and HR-related actions.
2. Ensure alignment with company policies and applicable labor regulations, escalating concerns as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 2–4 years of experience in HR, operations, or employee relations.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
4. High level of discretion and confidentiality.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work collaboratively and influence without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in legal, healthcare, or professional services environments.
2. Familiarity with HRIS systems and performance management tools.
3. Experience supporting change management or organizational development initiatives.
4. English proficiency at a B2–C1 level, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
