Onboarding Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Onboarding Coordinator to manage and coordinate the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless, efficient, and engaging onboarding process that supports employee integration and contributes to a positive employee experience from day one.

The idóneo candidate is a strong communicator with excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills, capable of working cross-functionally with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, IT, Facilities, and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the full onboarding lifecycle for new hires, from offer acceptance through successful integration into the organization.
- Manage and track onboarding documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation sessions, training programs, and welcome meetings.
- Partner with HR, IT, Facilities, Security, and other departments to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed prior to the employee's start date.
- Monitor onboarding timelines and ensure all activities are completed within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and providing guidance throughout the onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems and databases as needed.
- Generate onboarding reports and track key performance metrics related to onboarding effectiveness and employee experience.




- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and engagement.
- Ensure a consistent, professional, and positive onboarding experience for all new employees.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in onboarding, human resources, employee experience, HR operations, or administrative coordination.
- Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate several onboarding processes simultaneously.

Knowledge & Skills

- Understanding of onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge of HR documentation and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
- Experience with HR platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR, Oracle HCM, or similar systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is preferred.
