Functions:Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.Manage engineering changes, product documentation, testing, validations, and risk assessments to ensure product quality, reliability, and production continuity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal specifications while maintaining product performance and manufacturability.Lead assigned projects, prepare technical reports, and provide technical guidance to support organizational objectives and operational excellence.Identify and implement cost reduction and resource optimization opportunities without compromising product quality, reliability, compliance, or continuity.Evaluate technical, inventory, quality, cost, manufacturability, certification, and production continuity risks before approving or implementing changes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience in Product Engineering, Product Lifecycle Engineering (PLE), Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related areas.Experience implementing engineering changes (ECR/ECN), validations, pilot testing,
component releases, and risk assessments.Knowledge of technical drawings, electrical schematics, product specifications, and tolerances.Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs), product structure management, and engineering change control processes.Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D, and failure analysis.Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, materials, and component selection.Experience planning and executing functional, performance, reliability, and validation testing.Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Advanced English, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and interpret technical documentation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Experience in HVAC, electrical systems, automotive, appliance, or consumer products manufacturing.Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD) and tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, or Planner.Preferred: Knowledge of applicable product certifications and standards such as UL, ETL, CSA, NOM, or equivalent.
