Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Equipment Maintenance Engineer (MOLDING EXPERIENCE) _located in _Flex Tijuana_
- Reporting to the _Equipment Maintenance Manager _this role will be focused on: Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism, responding immediately to equipment breakdowns and assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment._
What a typical day looks like:

Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism._

Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner._
- _
Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns_
- _
Keeping production managers informed of progress._
- _
Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules._
- _
Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment._
- _
Analyzes and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms._
- _
Records times and problems in equipment logs._
- _
Provides daily equipment functioning activity information._
- _
Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment._
- _




Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects._
- _
Aligns repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry._
- _
Devise’s formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations._
- _
Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment._
- _
Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance._
- _
Allocating work to a team of fitters._
- _
Carrying out quality inspections_
- _
Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed_
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

BA/BS or equivalent work experience_
- _
Advanced English_
- _
Requires a Bachelor´s degree in engineering_
- _
Experience in the medical industry_
- _
Typically requires related experience_
- _
Advanced level of PLC Programing (AB, Mitsubishi, Omron, GE Fanuc, etc.)_
- _
Knowledge in Electronic (Digital / Analog) and basic knowledge molding,_
- _
Advance level of Servo drivers Programing (Parker, AB, etc.)_
- _
Knowledge of AutoCAD / Solid works_
- _
Knowledge in the following programming language (VB, C++, LabVIEW, SQL, Access)_
- _
Working on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or computerized systems (molding, ultrasonic and FFS machines)_
- _
Knowledge in RF and Ultrasonic sealing_
- _
Knowledge in Pneumatic / Hydraulic_
- _
Basic Knowledge of Molding (Arburg / Cincinnati)_
- _
Basic Knowledge of laser Markers_
- _
FFS Machines_
- _
Knowledge in RF and Ultrasonic sealing_
- _
Knowledge of laser Markers_
- _
NCMR's & CAPA's previous experience_
