ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Senior Director, Support Engineering, you will...
- Independently lead one or multiple teams of Support Engineering Managers and Support Engineers.
- Work with your team to take ownership of critical technologies or major products.
- Collaborate and communicate to define the functional and technical architecture of engineering teams, making sure that they align with Audible’s business strategy and priorities.
- Partner with business leaders, technical managers and Senior/Principal Engineers to determine the long-term potentials of architectures and product offerings.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of people management experience, specifically building and leading high-performance engineering teams.
- Experience collaborating with and influencing technical leaders.
- Experience in creating communication strategies that engage and impact internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a Support Engineering organization.
- Experience in budget and financial management.
- An ability to create structure out of ambiguity and bring technical visions to life.
- An understanding and familiarity with AWS technologies at scale in a production environment.
