**What you will do**:
The Supplier Business Continuity (SBC) Program Manager provides direct oversight for supplier risk assessment, mitigation and event response processes supporting Global Procurement. This hands-on program management position resides within the Procurement/Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE) shared service, as a member of lean centralized team reporting to the Director, Supplier Business Continuity. Johnson Controls SBC program is executed in a matrix fashion, relying on strong cross functional collaboration and the ability to drive effective execution of many program activities through a large network of resources on other teams.
We’re looking for a self-motivated team member who craves a challenge and feels energized when driving business process solutions designed to protect customer and shareholder value by assuring supplier business continuity. A successful SBC Program Manager will effectively interface with, and influence, partners in Procurement, Supplier Quality / Performance, Business Operations, Finance, IT, Legal, Engineering, etc., from around the globe. This individual executes essential functions to drive adoption, including reporting KPIs, training/coaching program participants, analyzing data, collaborating on the design and build of program improvements, contributing to strategic decision making, etc. This role is responsible for executing tactical aspects of the program in response to significant supply chain events, such as tracking events, forming and facilitating a cross functional event response during significant disruptions,
and summarizing progress through reports to leadership.
**How you will do it**:
- Work with SBC Director and stakeholders to drive critical program initiatives for the company.
- Manage and scale the supply chain event response program to meet the needs of the integral organization.
- Participate in operational supply chain risk management work, including event triage and response orchestration, risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Track events through their lifecycle and ensure transparent communication of status to leaders.
- Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks/challenges affecting event/incident resolution and/or other program initiatives.
- Ensure adoption and consistent use of established processes.
- Collaborate on program KPI reporting.
- Maintains detailed process documentation.
- Drive automation and process improvements
- Develop and deploy training as needed.
- Report updates on progress toward program goals and the progress of program participants against committed promises.
- Support with research and analytics.
- Participate in development of risk models, KRIs and controls.
- Track project deliverables and progress, escalate issues to ensure successful delivery.

- Process Mapping, Six Sigma background strongly preferred.
- Possess 5-7 years of experience in project or program management, vendor management, information systems, business processes, internal controls, procedures, and improvement initiatives.
- Strong planning and organization skills and fosters good working relationships with peers and colleagues.
- Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint site management, MS Power BI, PowerAutomate and/or PowerApps.
**Required, Capabilities, Experience and Degree Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferable with business or operations focus) required; MBA preferred.
- Previous systems/operations experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of working knowledge experience in the Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement or related environment, experience in risk management techniques required.
- Experience with disaster/event management software and tools strongly desired.
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral in English
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or a certification in Third Party Risk Management preferred.
