Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Application Developer located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the Application Developer is responsible for ensuring continuity of IT systems by providing the planning, technical business, and project coordination necessary to implement, architects, designs, builds, tests, develops software and resolve technical business solutions that automate specific business processes._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Design and build Services (Web / Windows) for IoT solutions._
- _ Build reports using SQL Server Reporting Services._
- _ Database design and write Stored Procedures and Functions in SQL Server._
- _ Develop business solutions by working with required stakeholders to develop the strategy for implementation._
- _ Ensure product is complete and attain customer’s requirements along with functions properly_
- _ Solution testing / QA prior to turnover to other teams for testing and user sign off._
- _ Troubleshoot and research of codes to find causes of errors and revise programs_
- _ Consult with engineering staffs to evaluate and develop software-machine interfaces_
- _ Contributes closely with solution architect on the entire development process_




- _ Maintain and upgrade existing systems._
- _ Research on fancy UI components and use in systems._
- _ Research on new technologies and incorporate in system solutions._
- _ Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, rationale, coding, testing changes, and corrections._
- _ Researches and evaluates software and hardware to assist in programming or to use as program platforms._
- _ Converts designs and specifications into computer code._
- _ Designs and codes screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs and interfaces with other systems._
- _ Compiles code into programs and corrects errors detected in compile process._
- _ Creates and runs _unit/integration/system_ test for automated execution to find errors on earlier implementation phases and confirm programs meets specifications_
- _ Research codes to find causes of errors and revises programs._
- _ Assists for UAT (User Acceptance Test)._
- _ Writes and maintains technical documentation to describe program development, rationale, coding, testing, changes, and corrections._
- _ Writes documentation or reviews documentation written by others that describes installation and operating procedures._
- _ Provides technical assistance by answering to inquiries regarding errors, problems or questions with program._
- _ Trains end users or technical hold up staff to use programs._




- _ Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules._
- _ Plans and prepares technical reports, memorandum and instructional manuals as documentation of program development._
- _ Upgrades system and corrects errors to maintain system after implementation._
- _ May Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects._
- _ May review project proposal or plan to choose timeframe, funding requirements and procedures for accomplishing project goals._
- _ Troubleshooting and provide solutions for business critical P1 incidents if any._
- _ Consults with client Business System Specialist and other internal stakeholders to prototype, refine, test and debug programs to attain client approval._
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- _ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent systems experience._
- _ Typically requires 1-3 years of systems experience._
- _ Strong engineering experience, including broad based management and supervision._
- _ Hands-on development experience in building Responsive Web Design user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 and Angular._
- _ Experience using SQL Server_
- _ Experience also with JavaScript / jQuery, HTML, CSS, and XML._
- _ Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site._
- _ Able to work in teams using Software Control Repository tools (TFS, Git)._
- _ Able to understand Object Oriented Programming and SOLID principles._
