Overview:
SQT Technician selects the appropriate equipment to measure and verify the reported dimensions and records the information in database/report format for review with Supplier Quality Engineers or other support departments. Updates inspection plans with relevant information and supports assembly lines and inspection department receipts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with supplier quality engineers to determine the appropriate measurement tools for first item approval (SPAP).
- Records measurement results in the SPAP report and communicates results.
- Follows up on matters reported in receiving inspection.
- Verifies and confirms raw material defects with the use of measurement tools in conjunction with support departments.
- Coordination of sorting and rework of raw materials.
Qualifications:
- Technical Career completed
- Experience 1 to 3 years
- English 60%
- Minimum 2 years of experience in measurement and statistical systems.
- Interpretation of supplier / customer drawings
- Decision making based on data
- GD&T; experience (preferred)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Schedule Availability
