- Purchase materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization. - Qualify vendors, evaluate bids, and negotiate prices and terms for purchased goods and services. - Manage complex third-party suppliers and manufacturing with responsibilities of buying, planning, and logistics. - Track purchases, monitor vendor quality, and maintain a current database of vendor information. - Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers. - Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible - Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods. - Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers. - Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues - Provide quotes as requested. - Provide feedback to internal customers and update reports.

- Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. - Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines - Commercially and financially aware. - Keen attention to detail and accuracy. - Proactively contributes to the team. - Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure. - Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree, 5 years of buying experience - Excellent knowledge of planning and quality control principles - Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, SAP preferred - Working knowledge of logistics - Analytical, and numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication abilities.
