**_Caterpillar’s Remanufacturing Division is looking for a Senior Data Scientist._**This position will perform analytical tasks and initiatives on huge amount of data to support data-driven business decision and development.
**Responsibilities to include but are not limited to**:
- Directing the data gathering, data mining, and data processing processes in huge volume; creating appropriate data models.
- Exploring, promoting, and implementing semantic data capabilities through Natural Language Processing, text analysis and machine learning techniques.




- Leading to define requirements and scope of data analyses; presenting and reporting possible business insights to management using data visualization technologies.
- Conducting research on data model optimization and algorithms to improve effectiveness and accuracy on data analyses.
- Providing business and system support to Caterpillar Reman business partners through business research and code development.
- Following key technical standards when implementing a new process to allow for sustainable integration into the team.
- Engaging in personal development within the Reman Business process and technical skills to continuously improve processes and value.
- Executing projects in a meticulous and timely manner.
- Developing, presenting, and reporting possible business insights to management using data visualization tools, including Power BI.
- Communicating with Reman partners to understand project scope and develop appropriate solutions.
- Deriving solutions utilizing Reman Analytics’ Python process, which includes Kedro Framework, Azure DevOps, Docker, AWS, Snowflake, and Power BI.
- Leading participant in Agile and Adhoc project planning and execution activities.
- Lead code reviews, knowledge shares, and project showcases.Defining and executing the standard for documenting project details and solutions.
