- Codebase Enhancement: Refine and optimize the existing frontend and backend codebase for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Backend Integration: Implement and manage Supabase as the primary backend, handling database design, authentication, and real-time data processing for NFC-based time tracking.
- Payroll Platform Integrations: Develop and maintain secure API integrations with Gusto, QuickBooks, ADP, Rippling, Paychex, and other payroll providers to automate employee time tracking and payroll processing.
- NFC Functionality: Ensure robust handling of NFC tag data for accurate clock-in/out tracking, with seamless data flow to payroll systems.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Documentation: Provide clear technical documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes to support future maintenance and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

- Frontend: Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) and TypeScript,



with experience in UI/UX optimization.
- Backend: Strong knowledge of Node.js, RESTful APIs, and database management (PostgreSQL experience preferred, ideally with Supabase).
- DevOps: Experience with Vercel for deployment, including configuring domains, environment variables, and serverless functions.
- API Integrations: Demonstrated ability to integrate third-party APIs, particularly with payroll platforms like Gusto, QuickBooks, ADP, Rippling, or Paychex.
- NFC Technology: Familiarity with NFC tag implementation or willingness to learn NFC data handling for time tracking.
- Security: Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication (e.g., OAuth, JWT), and data encryption to protect sensitive employee data.
- Testing: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) and writing comprehensive test suites.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex integration and deployment challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document processes and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
