ISP Cleaning Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming across assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas according to established hygiene standards.
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, furniture, and fixtures.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
- Support in preparing facilities for school events, meetings,



or special activities.
- Adhere to the institution’s safeguarding and security protocols.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
**Skills**:
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe usage.
- Ability to follow schedules, routines, and instructions.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and handle equipment.
- Reliability, responsibility, and punctuality.
- Teamwork and willingness to support colleagues.
- Basic communication skills.
**Qualifications**:
- Basic education (High school diploma desirable but not always required).
- Training or knowledge in sanitation, hygiene, or workplace safety preferred.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to comply with safeguarding and institutional policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning roles (schools, offices, hospitals, or similar environments) preferred.
- Experience with the use of cleaning machines and specialized equipment (e.g., floor polishers, vacuum cleaners).
- Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
- Familiarity with handling cleaning supplies and following safety procedures.
