** Your role**
- As a Design & Release Engineer for Propulsion Systems at Capgemini Engineering, you will be part of a dynamic team working on automotive propulsion system components. In this junior to mid-level role, you will develop your expertise while contributing to important engineering projects.
- In this role you will play a key role in:
- Supporting the design, specification, testing, and validation of propulsion system components for assigned vehicle families
- Assisting with documentation for component changes, including specifications and engineering changes
- Participating in the development and execution of validation plans (DVP&R;) to ensure components meet functional requirements
- Analyzing component failures and contributing to problem-solving processes under guidance from senior team members
- Learning to utilize 2D and 3D design software (NX) to create and modify component designs for internal combustion engines, electric motors, and structural components
- Supporting cost reduction initiatives while maintaining component performance standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers on part development according to established processes- **Your profile**- Good conversational **English**(B2, C1, C2)




- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Electro-mechanical, or related field)
- **1-3 years of experience**(Junior/Mid level) in the automotive industry or related engineering field, with exposure to product development processes
- Knowledge of** automotive systems**, particularly** internal combustion engines** and vibration/shock absorption components such as **rubber-metal brackets** used in cooling systems or body structures
- Familiarity with** computer-aided design software**, preferably NX and/or CATIA
- Basic understanding of **testing and validation methodologies** in an engineering environment
- Good **analytical**skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in automotive engineering and propulsion systems-
