As an EHS Sr Coordinator, you will support the business to align with the EHS strategy according to corporate policies and strategies. You will ensure full compliance with Mexican regulations, corporate policies and strategies on Environmental, Safety and Industrial Hygiene. Your focus will always orient to the protection of the physical integrity and health of workers, including associates, contractors, customers, suppliers, and community. Additionally, you will protect facilities, company property, and the reputation of the company. You will report to the EHS Sr Manager.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Train personnel on applicable safety and hygiene matters and, if necessary, ensure training within their scope.
- Comply with all legal requirements regarding health, safety, and the environment.
- Implement and maintain PPG's Safety Management System.
- Coordinate the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
- Coordinate occupational health programs with the medical service.
- Implement the necessary prevention and control measures regarding safety, hygiene, and the environment to ensure working conditions for personnel and the facilities.




- Ensure the correct implementation and monitoring of corporate-level regulations and procedures at the plant.
- Comply with all applicable EHS requirements from government agencies and certification bodies.
**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of functional, or comparable, experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, 90001 standards.
- Knowledge of IATF16949 standard is desirable.
- Advanced English skills.
