**Job Summary**:
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- **Assist**the Project Manager in project planning.
- **Handless administrative tasks** to support project management
- **CAD Design**: Utilize **Computer-Aided Design (CAD)** software to create detailed **drawings, plans**, and **layouts** for rail infrastructure and related components.
- **Technical Support**: Collaborate with **a team of engineers** in Mexico and U.S. to provide **technical support** in the development of rail projects, ensuring design meets **quality** and **client standards**.
- **Data Analysis**:Collect** and **analyze data** relevant to rail projects.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with **cross-functional teams**, including engineers and project managers, to ensure **seamless project execution** and **compliance** with design requirements.
- **Quality Assurance**: Participate in **quality assurance** and **quality control** activities to ensure designs are **error-free** and meet client standards.
- **Mentorship**: Act as a **mentor** to **junior engineers** and **designers**, providing **guidance** and support to promote their **professional growth**.
- **Other Duties**: Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs.
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**:
- **Advanced English level** - written and spoken is **required.**:
- **Proven leadership skills** - experience leading design and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in **CAD software** (AutoCAD and Civil 3D) is required.
- **Microstation,** InRail and Open Rail experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of **rail industry regulations**, codes and standards.
- Attend **project meetings** and present specific aspects of engineering assignments.
- Strong **attention to detail**and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to **work collaboratively**in an international team environment.
- Eagerness to** learn and adapt** to new technologies and tools.
- **Engaged** in life-long learning to **maintain knowledge** of contemporary issues.
- Effective **oral** and **written communication skills.**
**Required Education and Experience**:
- **Bachelor’s degree** in **Civil Engineering**:
- **8+ years** of prior experience
**Preferred Education and Experience**:
- **Master’s degree** or equivalent
