JOB SUMMARY The accountant – Revenue Cycle is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely recording of revenue-related transactions, accounts receivable activity, customer balances, and related financial information. This role supports month-end close, revenue recognition, balance reconciliations, intercompany activity, and compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and internal control requirements. The position requires a strong accounting foundation, analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to support additional finance areas as business needs evolve.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REVENUE CYCLE ACCOUNTING

- Record, review, and validate revenue-related transactions in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Support proper revenue recognition, including the review of billing, credit notes, discounts, rebates, cash applications, and related adjustments ensuring customer balances are accurate
- Partner with Billing, Collections, Cash Applications, Sales Operations, and Finance teams to resolve revenue, payment application, and receivable discrepancies.
- Identify process gaps within the revenue cycle and recommend improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and controls.

MONTH – END CLOSE, TIE-OUTS AND RFECONCILIATIONS
- Perform monthly close activities related to revenue,



accounts receivable, accruals, and related balance sheet accounts ensuring reconciling items are identified, documented, followed up, and cleared timely.
- Execute tie-outs between subledgers, general ledger, billing systems, tax reports, and management reporting packages.
- Analyze account fluctuations, unusual balances, and variances against prior periods, budget, and forecast.
- Prepare journal entries with adequate support and ensure timely posting in accordance with close calendars.

TAX COMPLIANCE SUPPORT
- Support the preparation, review, and reconciliation of information required for tax filings and statutory obligations.
- Coordinate with Tax, Accounting, and external advisors to provide accurate financial data for indirect taxes, income tax support, withholding taxes, and other applicable obligations.
- Review tax-related accounts and ensure balances are properly reconciled and supported, also be prepared for tax audits, internal reviews, and regulatory inquiries.

INTERCOMPANY ACCOUNTING
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, balances, recharges, allocations, and settlements.
- Coordinate with counterparties to resolve intercompany differences and ensure timely confirmations.
- Support intercompany billing, cross-charges, and elimination processes as required.
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for intercompany balances and transactions.
- Ensure intercompany activity complies with company policies, transfer pricing requirements, and internal controls.

REPORTING ANALYSIS AND CONTROLS
- Prepare financial schedules, account analyses, and supporting reports for management, corporate accounting,



tax, and audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, approval matrices, and documentation standards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, system implementations, automation opportunities, and control enhancement projects.
- Act as a backup or support resource for other accounting areas as needed, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll accounting, or statutory reporting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, revenue cycle processes, accounts receivable, cash applications, payment receipt application processes, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data validation, and large data analysis.
- Ability to prepare clear accounting schedules, explanations, and supporting documentation for audits and management reviews.
- Fluency in English is mandatory

Experience

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue accounting, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Experience supporting tax compliance deliverables, statutory reporting, audits, or regulatory information requests.
- Experience with intercompany accounting, balance confirmations, and reconciliations in a multinational environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Experience in shared services, regional accounting, or corporate accounting environments is preferred.
