Position Purpose

Lead and structure the company's accounting and financial management. Beyond daily record-keeping, this role will coordinate cash flow, supplier payments, financial planning, and executive reporting, ensuring an orderly transition and full control of these functions. Key Responsibilities

- Accounts Payable:

Payment schedule management, supplier terms negotiation, invoice review, and aging reports.

- General Accounting:

Journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing support, and physical/digital documentation maintenance.

- Financial Planning:

Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting and monitoring, variance analysis, risk identification, and strategic decision reports.

- Treasury:

Bank balance monitoring, short-term liquidity, reconciliations, and priority payment coordination (payroll, key suppliers).

- Cross-Functional Coordination:

Collaborative work with Operations, Purchasing, and Payroll to align overall company financial needs.

Candidate Profile

- Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,



or a related field.

- Experience:

3+ years in accounting/finance roles with Accounts Payable management.

- Technical Skills:

Accounting principles, cash flow forecasting, advanced Excel skills, QuickBooks, and Contpaqi.

- Languages:

Bilingual English / Spanish (desirable for interaction with international teams).

- Competencies:

Data analysis, organization, prioritization, follow-up, and assertive communication. Key Deliverables

- Accurate and up-to-date cash flow forecasts.
- Updated Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aging reports.
- Up-to-date payment schedules and payment prioritization.
- Timely accounting reconciliations and period-end closings.
- Executive financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
