Finance Operations Lead / Controller

We're looking for an experienced, highly reliable Finance Operations Lead / Controller to own and continuously improve the finance function of a growing global business.

This is not a bookkeeping role, and it is not a strategic CFO role. We need someone who operates in the middle: understands the complete financial cycle, ensures the numbers are reliable, reviews and guides the work of finance administrators and bookkeepers, identifies risks before management has to ask, improves processes and controls, supports finance operations across multiple countries and entities, and uses AI, automation, and lightweight internal tools to make the finance organization more accurate, scalable, and efficient.

A CPA license is required. CA, ACCA, or CMA is also valued.

The most important qualities for this role are reliability, trust, maturity, ownership, and financial judgment. We're looking for someone who can be trusted to look after the finance operation, recognize when something doesn't make sense, ask the right questions,



and follow issues through to resolution. AI and automation experience matters, but it does not replace strong finance fundamentals.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Financial Operations & Control
You'll oversee the finance operating cycle: month-end close, P&L; and balance-sheet review, reconciliations, AR, AP, billing, cash management, 13-week cash-flow forecasting, journal-entry review, accruals, budgeting and variance analysis, controls, management reporting, audit/year-end support, and coordination with external accountants, tax specialists, and advisors. You should be comfortable across the whole finance function, not one area.

General Finance Operations
