Position: Finance & Accounting Intern

Location: Huejotzingo, Puebla

Reports to: Finance Manager

Position Summary To support the Finance and Accounting department in daily administrative, accounting, and financial activities while gaining practical experience in a multinational manufacturing environment. The intern will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting accounting processes, developing technical and professional skills for a future career in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in recording daily accounting transactions in accordance with company policies.

· Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.

· Assist with the preparation and filing of accounting documentation.

· Support bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.

· Help maintain records of fixed assets and accounting schedules.

· Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management reports.

· Support invoice verification, expense documentation, and payment tracking.

· Organize physical and electronic accounting records.

· Assist with month-end closing activities.

· Support the Finance team during internal and external audits.

· Assist in budget tracking and basic financial analysis.

· Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Excel.

· Collaborate with other departments to collect financial and administrative information.

· Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

· Support DIOT filing and electronic accounting submissions to the SAT (trial balance, chart of accounts, and journal entries).

· Assist in the calculation of monthly taxes (ISR, VAT, and withholdings).

· Review the SAT tax mailbox (Buzón Tributario)



and related notifications.

· Support the classification of deductible and non-deductible expenses.

· Basic knowledge of payroll, IMSS, and payroll tax, for occasional support in review (not a primary function).

Profile Requirements

Education

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in: Public Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (with a Finance concentration) or similar studies.

Experience

- Previous internship or professional practice is desirable but not required.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or finance gained through academic coursework.
- Interest in developing a career in accounting, finance, or manufacturing.

Languages

- Intermediate English.
- Ability to read simple financial documents and communicate by email is desirable.
