Responsibilities
- Strong sourcing experience finding passive candidates on various platforms, job boards, Linkedin and other methods
- Identify, screen, interview, present qualified candidates for contract, temporary and permanent positions
- Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools
- Evaluate candidates' strengths compared with clients' requirements by, for example, evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate
- Present job opportunities to qualified candidates
- Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks, credit checks and background/drug tests (if required)
- Manage temporary and contract employees while on assignment. Assess and investigate employee related problems, and administer performance counselling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary
- Coach candidates through the client interview process
- Build positive relationships with candidates
- Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting "best practices" and providing accurate, thorough documentation on candidates in BH system and/or other documentation tools
- Write recruitment advertisements for assigned job orders
- Post job descriptions on select job boards (i.e- Indeed, Linkedin) and any professional association websites if applicable
- Track candidates progress/activity in ATS system
- Manage existing client accounts
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and candidates
- Maintain open communication with clients and candidates at all times
- Send applicable candidate resumes to clients for review
- Take thorough and effective client job orders
- Answer all client inquiries and concerns promptly
- Arrange interviews for clients and carry out aftercare follow up calls
- Prepare applicable confirmation of fees/ agreements for clients and ensure that a signed copy is faxed back to our office in a timely manner before resumes are sent
- Track client activity in BH
Other:
- Administration duties, including reference and credit checks, timesheet processing etc.
- Assist in covering desks as assigned by Team Lead
- Liaise with colleagues and other company departments as required
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings and training as required
- Any other duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of IT recruitment experience, with 5 years recruiting strictly IT role
- 8 yrs sourcing experience finding passive candidates on various platforms, job boards and other methods
- Ability to source candidates through different mediums
- Previous staffing agency experience
- Post-secondary degree or college diploma
- Must be available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
- Possess strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Have work experience in a service-oriented business
- Strong MS Office skills
- Detail oriented
- Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast paced sales environment, and be capable of regularly using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements
- A sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills and a high standard of professionalism and character are musts
