Quality Manager Position Purpose The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Quality organization within a high-volume manufacturing environment focused on electrical and electronic components. This role is accountable for ensuring product and process quality, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
The adecuado candidate will have strong experience in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably within companies producing electrical components, electronic components, circuit protection products, fuses, or related products serving industrial, automotive, commercial, or electronic applications.
The Quality Manager will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to establish robust quality systems, prevent defects, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities Quality Management & Manufacturing Excellence Lead the Quality organization and establish quality objectives aligned with overall business and manufacturing goals.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and processes to ensure consistent product and process performance.
Monitor key quality metrics and drive corrective actions to improve manufacturing performance.
Establish and maintain quality standards for high-volume manufacturing processes.
Partner with Operations and Engineering to identify process risks and implement preventive quality controls.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for internal and external quality issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, process capability, yield improvement, and cost of poor quality.
Promote a strong quality culture throughout the manufacturing organization.
Customer Quality Serve as a key point of contact for customer quality matters and escalations.
Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure timely containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and closure.
Coordinate responses to customer quality concerns using structured problem-solving methodologies.
Monitor customer quality performance and develop action plans to improve customer satisfaction.
Support customer audits, quality reviews,



and other customer-specific requirements.
Ensure customer-specific quality requirements are effectively communicated and implemented within the manufacturing organization.
New Product Introduction & Process Quality Partner with Engineering and Operations during New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure quality requirements are incorporated from product and process development through launch.
Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, MSA, and capability studies as applicable.
Participate in Design Reviews and process validation activities.
Ensure quality standards and controls are established before production ramp-up.
Support engineering changes and ensure appropriate quality assessments and documentation are completed.
Supplier & Incoming Quality Partner with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality teams to address supplier-related quality issues.
Monitor supplier quality performance and support supplier improvement initiatives.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions related to incoming material and component quality.
Support supplier audits and qualification activities as required.
Quality Systems & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System.
Ensure quality documentation, procedures, work instructions, and records are properly maintained.
Promote standardized quality practices and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team to achieve site quality objectives.
Establish clear performance expectations and develop team capabilities.
Promote cross-functional collaboration between Quality, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other support functions.




Develop a culture of accountability, problem solving, prevention, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
7+ years of progressive experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment.
Previous leadership or management experience within a manufacturing Quality organization.
Strong experience in high-volume discrete manufacturing environments.
Experience in electrical components, electronic components, circuit protection products, fuses, automotive components, or similar industries strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and manufacturing quality methodologies.
Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone.
Experience with customer quality management and customer complaint resolution.
Experience leading internal and external quality audits.
Experience working with manufacturing processes involving automated and semi-automated equipment.
Strong understanding of process capability, statistical analysis, defect prevention, and continuous improvement.
Experience working with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal, preferred.
