we are looking for a backend developer to join our team and work on cloud-based applications for a global client. The role will involve developing python-based backend services, working with aws and mongodb, and supporting salesforce integrations and ci/cd processes.

the idóneo candidate should have strong backend development experience with python, hands-on aws experience, and good knowledge of mongodb. Experience with salesforce deployments and ci/cd pipelines is also required.

responsibilities

- design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and applications using python and aws.
- develop and enhance python-based microservices that integrate with salesforce and mongodb.
- build and maintain apis and integration services for business applications.
- configure and maintain ci/cd pipelines for salesforce deployments.
- work with mongodb to design schemas, write queries, create indexes, and improve database performance.
- monitor applications and aws resources and implement appropriate logging, alerting, and troubleshooting processes.
- participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
- develop unit, integration, and functional tests for backend services and deployment processes.
- identify and resolve application, database, and infrastructure-related performance issues.
- follow security best practices related to authentication, authorization, data protection, and aws configuration.




- work closely with architects, product owners, qa, and operations teams to deliver solutions.
- support production releases and troubleshoot issues during deployment and post-production.
- prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and runbooks.
- participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.

required skills

- strong experience in python backend development .
- hands-on experience with aws services and cloud-based application development.
- strong experience with mongodb , including schema design, indexing, querying, and performance optimization.
- experience with salesforce ci/cd and deployment processes .
- experience developing microservices and rest apis .
- good understanding of ci/cd, git, version control, and automated deployments .
- experience with unit and integration testing.
- strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- experience working in an agile/scrum development environment.
- good understanding of cloud security and application security practices.

preferred skills

- fastapi, flask, or similar python frameworks.
- jenkins, github actions, gitlab ci, or azure devops.
- docker and kubernetes.
- pytest or similar testing frameworks.experience with asset management or it asset management is a plus.
