- Job Title: Senior Accountant (Multi-Entity / Owner Reporting)
- Work Hours/Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time

This is a California-based ownership group operating a portfolio of businesses and property holdings across multiple legal entities. The day-to-day bookkeeping is already handled by someone the team trusts and values. What they are missing is the layer above it: a senior set of eyes who takes the books across the finish line, closes the month cleanly, and hands ownership reporting they can actually make decisions from.

This is a small, tight team where the person doing the work talks directly to the people who own the business. There is no layer of managers between you and the decision-makers, which means your work is seen, your judgment matters, and your reporting goes straight to the top. 3.) Key Responsibilities

- Review bookkeeping completed by the existing team and maintain accurate QuickBooks records across multiple entities
- Perform complete month-end close processes, including standard journal entries and account reconciliations
- Own financial statement reconciliations and ensure data integrity across all entities
- Prepare and review owner-level P&Ls;, property expenses, and mortgage or loan activity
- Identify and resolve missing payments, misclassified expenses, and discrepancies before they reach ownership




- Prepare comprehensive financial reporting for ownership and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Work directly with the leadership team on review cycles and reporting timelines

4.) Must-Have Requirements

- Strong accounting fundamentals with a thorough understanding of P&Ls; and balance sheets
- Proven experience performing month-end close, journal entries, and financial statement reviews
- Hands-on experience managing reconciliations and multi-entity records in QuickBooks
- Ability to independently spot accounting issues and resolve discrepancies without being prompted
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time
- Based in Mexico

- Experience handling multi-entity structures and complex mortgage or loan reconciliations
- Prior experience with owner reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting
