Senior Azure Fabric / Databricks Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and modern cloud data platforms .

The adecuado candidate will have experience designing and building scalable data pipelines, Lakehouse environments, and enterprise analytics solutions across the full data lifecycle — from ingestion and transformation through analytics and machine learning enablement.

Responsibilities:

- Design scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Pipelines, Databricks Jobs, and Apache Spark
- Build Lakehouse environments and implement Bronze / Silver / Gold medallion architecture
- Develop transformations using PySpark, Scala, SQL, and Spark
- Design dimensional models, fact tables, and analytics-ready datasets
- Implement data quality, validation, lineage, and governance frameworks
- Optimize Spark jobs, SQL queries, clusters, and data warehouse performance
- Support CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, and cloud infrastructure practices




- Work with analysts and data scientists to support Power BI and enterprise analytics

Required Experience:

- 5+ years of Data Engineering / Cloud Data Platform experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Strong experience with Azure Databricks
- Advanced Apache Spark / PySpark / SQL
- Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture
- ETL/ELT and data pipeline development
- Strong SQL and data modeling experience
- Azure services including ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse, and Azure DevOps
- Git and CI/CD practices
- Data quality, governance, and metadata management

Nice to have:

- Microsoft Azure or Databricks certifications
- Kafka, Event Hubs, or streaming technologies
- Airflow or other orchestration platforms
- Python beyond Spark
- Docker / Kubernetes
- MLOps experience
- AWS or GCP exposure
