Responsabilidades
Asegurar la operación del proceso de prensas con las especificaciones de cliente con base a los estandares, procedimientos, controles y politicas establecidas por Crown bajo un proceso de mejora continua minimizando tiempos, optimizando materiales y dando soporte a los mecánicos de formaciónpara el logro de las metas establecidas en los indicadores operativos, el crecimiento, permanencia y rentabilidad del negocio, asegurando el cumplimiento de las necesidades de nuestros clientes.
Requisitos
Carrera técnica o bachillerato tecnológico en maquinas herramientas, mecánica, electromecánica o afín a procesos productivos.
Job Summary:
Fabricate and maintain precision shell molds for casting processes, ensuring high-quality production and efficient operation of shell molding machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain shell molding machines, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare sand-resin mixtures according to specifications for shell mold production.
- Monitor molding parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cure time to ensure optimal shell quality.
- Inspect finished shell molds for defects, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.
- Perform routine maintenance on shell molding equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with shell molding machinery.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize shell design and manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document production data, maintenance activities, and quality control checks.
Job Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical maintenance or casting processes preferred.
- Proven experience as a Shell Press Mechanic or in a similar role within a manufacturing or foundry environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for maintenance and repair.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
- Basic understanding of casting principles and metallurgy is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
