We are looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications (External Communications) to play a key role in shaping executive communications and strengthening Nissan’s reputation in Mexico.

Reporting to the Corporate Communications Deputy Director, this role is responsible for leading executive-level and external communications, including strategy, planning, content development, and execution.

The position works closely with commercial teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful messaging, media engagement, and high-visibility initiatives.

This role is critical in enhancing Nissan’s positioning with external audiences while protecting and building the company’s reputation across the region.

A Day in the Life
- Lead executive and external communications strategy, including speeches, presentations, and messaging frameworks
- Partner with senior leadership stakeholders to craft impactful narratives and positioning




- Drive media engagement and corporate storytelling initiatives
- Coordinate product launches, corporate events, and communication campaigns
- Manage agency partners and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead crisis communication and reputation management efforts

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute external and corporate communications strategies aligned with general and regional narratives
- Create and manage high-quality content (press releases, executive briefings, speeches, presentations)
- Support senior executives in thought leadership, media interactions, and external engagements
- Lead and coordinate corporate and product-related events
- Develop and manage the strategic editorial calendar
- Act as spokesperson when required
- Lead crisis and issues management communications
, including mitigation strategies and response planning
- Drive campaigns aligned with Marketing & Sales strategy
