Job Description:
Our client is looking for an Tag Manager. This is a 3-month, project-based engagement to lead analytics and tracking implementation for a website rebuild on a modern content operations platform such as Sanity.io or similar.

The Tag Manager will own the GA4 and Google Tag Manager setup end to end, including defining tracking requirements, implementing tags and events, managing QA, and delivering documentation. This role also owns project management for the analytics workstream, coordinating with marketing, web, and engineering teams to ensure tracking is implemented correctly and ready for launch.

The adecuado candidate has previously served as the sole owner of GA4 and GTM implementations for new website launches or rebuilds and can operate independently while keeping stakeholders aligned through clear planning and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end GA4 and Google Tag Manager setup for a rebuilt website on a content operations platform such as Sanity.io
- Define tracking requirements, event taxonomy, conversion strategy,



and success metrics in partnership with stakeholders
- Implement and manage GTM tags, triggers, and variables to capture key user actions and marketing conversions
- Configure GA4 events, parameters, and conversions and ensure data is accurate and consistent
- QA and troubleshoot tracking using GTM Preview, GA4 DebugView, and browser tools before and after launch
- Project manage the analytics workstream, including timeline, milestones, stakeholder coordination, and weekly status updates
- Deliver documentation and a clean handoff so internal teams can maintain the setup after the project ends
- Data Hygiene: Strictly exclude internal traffic and configure bot exclusion audiences.
- 3rd-Party Tracking: Set up click and event tracking for vendors like Qualified Chat to measure user impact.
- Audiences: Configure GA4 audiences for Demandbase personas and setup Custom Segments.
