Vontier is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative accounting professional to support Vontier’s corporate accounting team with bookkeeping, statutory audits, SOX compliance, and acting as a system administrator for accounting systems. This role will be remote (based in Brazil) and reports to the corporate accounting team in the United States.

Key Responsibilities.
- Support month-end and year-end accounting close activities, including the preparation and posting of journal entries and timely completion of financial reporting deliverables.
- Support the monthly consolidation of financial results.
- Support statutory financial audits and preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Serve as a system administrator for accounting platforms: manage user access/modification requests, import and maintain foreign exchange rates, open/close

accounting periods, and support system configuration changes.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses to support close and audit processes.
- Perform monthly and quarterly controls as part of SOX compliance.




- Perform calculations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
- Assist with audit requests.
- Assist with ad-hoc finance and accounting projects.
- Drive process improvements and automation opportunities across corporate accounting to increase efficiency and accuracy.

WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Skills, Abilities and Knowledge:
- Ability to communicate verbally and written in English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - comfortable using PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, data validation/conditional formatting and similar Excel formulas and configurations.
