Job Title: Collection Agent
Position Type: 12-Month Contract
Location: Mexico City, CDMX
Salary Rate: MXN 20,000/month

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and target-driven Collection Agent to support collection activities, payment reconciliations, customer issue resolution, and external debt collection operations. The idóneo candidate will have strong negotiation and communication skills, experience in collections, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage collection activities and related administrative processes, including payment reconciliations and follow-up.
- Provide support and coordination with external debt collection vendors.
- Identify and implement resolutions for customer issues and complaints, escalating complex cases to the appropriate leader or team for further investigation.
- Prepare collection and performance reports and provide recommendations for process and performance improvements.
- Provide training and coaching to team members and support specialized projects and user acceptance testing (UAT).




- Conduct call monitoring and monitor control processes to support quality assurance and audit requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in collections or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills with a target-oriented and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is required to communicate with customers, external collection vendors, and internal business stakeholders in both languages.
- Good computer literacy and ability to work with relevant systems and reporting tools.
