About the Role: We are looking for a highly technical Senior DevOps Engineer to modernize the development and testing infrastructure for our cutting-edge automotive software project. You will own the CI/CD ecosystem, ensuring that our distributed engineering teams can deliver high-quality, reliable code at speed.

This isn't just about maintaining servers; it’s about architecting an automated, scalable environment that bridges the gap between software development and embedded systems testing. You will be the technical authority for our infrastructure, automation, and delivery processes.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

- Architect CI/CD Excellence: Design and implement robust, scalable CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) specifically tailored for automotive-grade software.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate the provisioning of build/test environments, moving from manual setups to scalable, reproducible code-based infrastructure.
- Optimize Delivery: Analyze performance bottlenecks in pipelines and implement innovative solutions to reduce build/test cycle times for distributed general teams.
- Enable Automation: Integrate complex software, integration, and system-level testing directly into the delivery pipeline.
- Tooling & Scripting: Develop custom automation tools and utilities (Python/Bash) to streamline everyday engineering tasks and reporting.
- Technical Stewardship:



Define DevOps best practices, maintain technical documentation, and mentor team members to elevate the overall engineering culture.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all CI/CD environments adhere to security standards and proper access management.

What You Bring (Mandatory Skills):

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years in DevOps, CI/CD, or Build/Release Engineering.
- CI/CD Mastery: Deep hands-on experience designing/maintaining pipelines in platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Scripting Proficiency: Strong command of Python and/or Bash for infrastructure and process automation.
- Containerization: Proven experience with Docker and managing containerized build environments.
- OS Expertise: Solid grasp of Linux environments and advanced command-line troubleshooting.
- Version Control: Expert knowledge of Git workflows and artifact management strategies.
- Testing Integration: Experience integrating automated test suites into the build process.
- Problem Solver: Exceptional root-cause analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, connectivity, and build issues independently.
- Collaboration: A track record of working effectively with distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
