Functions:
- Plan, coordinate, and check engineering changes prior to supervisory signature release to production.
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of existing HVAC products.
- Identify and implement design improvements to increase product efficiency and reliability with engineering principles, agency standards, company standards and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Analyze engineering sketches, specifications and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts.
- Sketches rough layouts and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages and location of holes.
- Investigate through theoretical/experimental methodologies and troubleshoot product design related problems and opportunities, document findings and perform corrective/improvement changes.
- Develop evaluation test plans and coordinate with engineering designers and lab test engineers on test set-up, data acquisition, interpretation of data and means for achieving desired test results.




- Write detailed engineering reports with analysis and summary of findings that will be shared with other departments and archived for historical reference.
- Participate in cost improvement initiatives to optimize product cost without compromising quality; working along with other departments and within cross-functional teams.
- Assist in the start-up of new products and support the transition from development to production.
- Coordinate efficiently with vendors on new or existing components.
- Apply physical, chemical, and/or mathematical concepts to solve design related problems, and the creation of new designs.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field to engineering.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC industry.
- No travel Restrictions (occasional travel domestic and/or international may be required).
