Milacron is looking for a Sales Project Engineer (Rebuild, Retrofit & Modernization Services) to join our team in Querétaro, Mexico. In this position, you will be responsible for executing, coordinating, and validating retrofit, rebuild, overhaul, and modernization projects for plastic injection molding machines, ensuring improvements in performance, reliability, energy efficiency, safety, equipment lifespan, and operational availability through technical diagnostics, solution engineering, project management, commissioning, and customer support.
Work You’ll Do:

Lead and coordinate retrofit, rebuild, overhaul, and modernization projects for injection molding equipment.
Perform comprehensive machine assessments, including mechanical wear, electrical obsolescence, hydraulic failures, and automation deficiencies.
Define technical project scope in collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Service teams, and customers.
Develop project timelines, assign technical resources, and coordinate field service engineers and independent service providers (ISPs).
Prepare technical service quotations,



including labor, materials, travel expenses, and project schedules.
Oversee commissioning, FAT/SAT testing, process parameter validation, machine safety verification, and customer acceptance activities.
Monitor project budgets, costs, billing reports, and overall project profitability.
Support customers through technical consultations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-installation follow-up.
Collaborate with the Aftermarket Sales team to develop modernization, retrofit, and rebuild opportunities.
Ensure accurate project documentation, including engineering changes, spare parts lists, drawings, lessons learned, and service reports.
Maintain digital project records and leverage modern diagnostic tools, IIoT connectivity, and data traceability solutions.
