Responsibilities





The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Performs electrical calculations, such as load calculations, short-circuit, protection coordination, voltage drop, etc., using specialized tools and spreadsheets, as assigned and based on the employee’s experience and project needs.
- Prepares and updates technical specifications, load lists, and equipment and material lists (BOM).
- Models and/or reviews electrical design documents in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM) to ensure proper coordination with other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, civil, etc.), as assigned.
- Addresses comments from internal quality reviews (QA/QC) and from clients, making the necessary design adjustments.
