The adecuado candidate is an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in automotive assembly operations, capable of driving process improvements, supporting product launches, implementing lean manufacturing practices, and optimizing production performance. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration skills to deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
Responsibilitie
- Design, optimize, and validate assembly processes, workstations, tooling, fixtures, and equipment for new and existing product launches.
- Support manufacturing readiness activities, including PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Standardized Work.
- Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve OEE, First Pass Yield (FPY), and overall manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Lead root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, and DMAIC.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and capacity expansion projects.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process standards, and operator training materials.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and automotive quality standards.
- Participate in APQP activities and support product launches from concept through production.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in assembly manufacturing engineering within an automotive or Tier 1 supplier environment.
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.
- Proven experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of assembly processes, manufacturing equipment, and production systems.
- Experience supporting new product launches and process validation activities.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
